In November 2013, Kollektiv Gallery’s first ever Kickstarter campaign was launched. The campaign raised 50% of the money they needed in the first 24 hours. Two weeks later they successfully raised all the funds they needed by organising a public intervention, by painting requested animals onto the Marwood Cafe’s wall in Brighton. Thanks to the Kickstarter, the first group of early career creatives set up a pop-up gallery inside an empty butchers in Brighton.
