Here we are, this is it, the time is now, 100th. 18 months ago this website did not exist, this idea had not been realised and these artworks had not been published. Picture interviews were around long before Kollektiv, but the format spoke to us in the way we knew best, visually. And now, incredibly, we have the total honour of announcing our 100th picture interview to join our archive of 1000 visual responses. It’s a special day and therefore we felt it was only right to invite a very special artist to join us. So ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, let me introduce you to the joyful and curious Roshan Adhihetty!
Roshan tells Kollektiv, “I’m a photographer from in Lausanne, Switzerland. My work is mostly based around our society and its marginal groups. I often use photography to get to know something better that interests me personally. I really enjoyed answering the picture interview, it was quite surprising how your questions added to my image can change the meaning of the picture totally.”
