Ralph Solly is a UK based graphic designer and illustrator, he tells Kollektiv: "The picture interview was very challenging, so my process of coming up with ideas took a lot of work and research with preliminary sketches to start with. I use mixed mediums, with combination of illustration, photocopying, painting, Photoshop and Illustrator. I’m proud of my family history, so some of this was a ‘base’ for inspiration for creating my visual responses. I constantly surround myself with inspiration with a huge variety of vinyl / art / design / typography / architecture, books etc. I’ve never classed myself as a ‘proper creative’, as I studied graphic design and illustration, so I’ve never felt I fitted into one box."
